How to wash electric motorcycles?

Guidelines for Washing an Electric Motorcycle:

Washing an electric motorcycle differs from washing a regular motorcycle because electric motorcycles have electrical systems and batteries that can be damaged by water. Follow these steps for proper washing:

  1. Always turn off the breaker and key switch before washing.

  2. Carefully inspect and protect areas that are not waterproof, such as the battery, control box, display, wiring, motor, and switches.

  3. Use a regular hose to wash the motorcycle by gently pouring water from top to bottom. Avoid using high-pressure water.

  4. Be careful not to let water get under the seat where the battery, charging port, and control box are located.

  5. After washing, immediately dry the motorcycle with a clean, dry towel, and use cool air to blow it dry (if available). Avoid direct sunlight exposure.

Following these steps will keep your electric motorcycle clean and safe from electrical short circuits, extending the vehicle’s lifespan.
